ArmorGarage Urethane Epoxy Slurry is a specialized three-component urethane mortar (comprising liquids A & B along with aggregate) designed as a resurfacing slurry or spot repair material. It is a re-coatable, high-gloss, abrasion-resistant flooring system that endures high impact extreme thermal shocks from hot water or cleaning. It's highly moisture-tolerant, making it ideal for wet and damp areas, and can be applied to damp concrete. This product is among the most advanced coatings available for the food industry. We like to call it the M1 Abrams Tank of flooring due to its virtual indestructibility.
It is perfectly suited for food and chemical processing plants, bakeries, wastewater treatment facilities, breweries and bottling plants, sanitizing and washing areas, or any location requiring a durable, shock & impact resistant surface. To use, mix liquids A & B with the proprietary silica powder compound using a power mixing tool (compatible with a standard drill). Spread over floor with adjustable Cam Rake at desired thickness (Available at Graingers and other stores) then backroll with spike roller (also available at Graingers) to release any trapped air bubbles. The curing time ranges from 10 -18 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. The kit does not include a power mixing tool, see Related Products. Spike soles are strongly recommended also.
The 50-pound kit covers 41 square feet @ 1/8" thickness and can be applied up to 1/2" thick. It is self-leveling and easy to install, making it an excellent choice for resurfacing or coating damaged, pocked, and spalled floors. Frequently used in wineries, breweries, commercial kitchens and food service areas, it is available in Medium Gray, Tan or Tile Red. Additionally, it can be top-coated with the ARM253X Protective Topcoat to achieve any standard or custom color (minimums may apply). A metal power mixer can be purchased separately.
With a compressive strength of 10,200 pounds (more than twice the strength of standard concrete), it is recommended for high-build resurfacing in traffic areas where a seamless floor with superior durability is desired. Please note that proper adhesion requires shot blasting or rough diamond grinding.
