What is the best epoxy coating for wastewater treatment plants?

The best treatment plant coating is a multi-layer industrial epoxy system matched to each area's chemical exposure: a three-layer military-industrial system for general floors — waterproof, antimicrobial, chemical and acid resistant, with a military-grade clear topcoat broadcast with micro tubular aluminum for grip and durability — and a Novolac acid-resistant system for the zones with heavy corrosive exposure. One product does not fit a whole plant; matching the coating to each area's exposure is what makes the floor last.

Why do treatment plant floors need acid-resistant epoxy?

Because the environment attacks bare concrete from two directions: sewage gases like hydrogen sulfide convert to sulfuric acid on damp surfaces and eat into unprotected concrete, and treatment chemicals — chlorine, ferric chloride, caustics — add direct chemical exposure on top. Use an OSHA and ADA approved textured non-slip coating in walkways and wet process areas.
