Polyurethane foam roofs are great insulators and great leak stoppers. But they have one weakness and it's UV rays. Left unprotected your expensive foam roof will deteriorate pretty fast requiring a costly reapplication. You can apply an inexpensive retail water based or aluminum fibered coating over it but they will wear off very quickly also risking damage to your polyurathane foam. You can use one of our industrial grade roof coatings but that will add a good amount of cost to an already costly roof.
Or you can use our Aluminum Epoxy Foam Roof Coating, NOT to be confused with aluminum fibered retail grade coatings found in big box stores. Our coating is an industrial epoxy coating that can be applied in cold weather down to 20 degrees and hot weather up to 140 degrees. Cures fast in 1-2 hours and has superior durability. Easy application simply clean roof, stir contents in can then roll, brush or spray on at 300-400 sf/gal.
We recommend if you have any low spots that hold water for more than 48 hrs that you repair those areas as standing water will have negative effects on the coating.
Has great coverage characteristics and normally only one coat is required with no priming necessary. Finishes to a heat reflecting Satin Aluminum color and will take on the texture of the foam either a smooth or rough textured finish. Operates in temperatures from -40 to 250 degrees.
