Industrial grade two part textured non slip epoxy coating designed for application to any type of floors that operate in wet environments with slippery conditions. This coating offers the ultimate in slip prevention and durability on Oil Rigs, Ships, Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries, Docks, Ship Decks, Meat Packing, Seafood & Poultry Processing Floors, Stadium Ramps and similar applications. Cannot be compared to off the shelf non slip paints that are single component and very thin. They offer moderate slip protection and inferior durability in commercial or industrial applications. You must use a two-component epoxy designed specifically for these types of wet/caustic, high traffic environments. Otherwise, you are wasting your time and money while creating a potentially hazardous condition.
Applied in one layer at about 1/16"-1/8" dried thickness of protection compared to most other products that are water based and a fraction as thick. Meets OSHA, USDA and ADA requirements. Low odor, nontoxic, superior water, impact, abrasion and chemical resistance. Impervious to oil, grease, alcohol, gasoline, hydraulic fluids, road salts, saltwater exposure and caustic washdown detergents.
Can be applied to concrete and steel floors, indoors or outdoors. Self priming on concrete and steel. For additional adhesion to steel and diamond plate applications we recommend priming with our Bonding Primer first. Can be applied over previous coating that is sanded clean and roughed up. Can be applied in temperatures down to 30 degrees with Low Temp Version which is much lower than standard non slip flooring paints or epoxies.
This non-skid epoxy meets ADA and OSHA standards for safe slip resistance, ensuring that when applied correctly, it provides the necessary coefficient of friction for safer walking and working surfaces. This makes it ideal for wet or slippery conditions, where reliable anti-slip performance is essential for maintaining a safe environment.
See our Cove Base kits to provide a seamless transition from floor to wall so that the epoxy can be coated right across the floor and up the wall to form a waterproof tub for easy pressure washing.
This coating is easily applied with phenolic core roller or flat squeegee by in house maintenance staffs, no experience needed for professional results. For heavy texture apply with a phenolic core roller, for a less textured finish apply with flat squeegee. This coating is forklift and rubber track vehicle rated. For rubber wheels and tracks we recommend the flat squeegee application which will have a less aggressive finish and will have increased coverage rate of up to 50 sf/gal. The roller application has a very aggressive finish that can wear out certain soft rubber tires and tracks. When we say it's industrial grade, we mean it!

Apply at 40 sf/gallon. Coverage may vary according to application method and surface porosity. Allow 8 hrs to dry to the touch. Back to service with light traffic within 24hrs depending on temperature and humidity. Allow 48 hours for vehicle traffic.
Mix at a 4:1 ratio and pour in a bead from left to right and apply with phenolic core roller or flat squeegee depending on amount of texture desired. For best results roller or flat squeegee in one direction as much as possible, avoid back and forth motions. Roller will yield more aggresive finish and squeegee will have less agressive finish. Apply at the average of 40 sf/gal rate. Pot life is 30 minutes. Do not mix more than can be applied in about 20 minutes. Only one coat is required. Finish may have slightly uneven gloss depending on application. This is simply a cosmetic issue and will not effect performance of the product. Product should be left to dry overnight and can be back in full service the next day.
Please note this is an industrial product and good ventillation should be used when applying indoors and the use of paint respirator is recommended. Do not apply in the presence of open flames or sparks such as from welding or torch cutting equipment.
Steel should be primed with our Bonding Primer or Direct to Metal Primer for even thicker finish. Concrete should be acid washed twice with a strong 2 part water to one part muriatic acid solution then nuetralized with TSP powder. Remove oil stains with a combination of Liquid Tide and muriatic acid, several applications may be needed depending on how deep the stain is. Alternate prep is diamond grind or shotblasting. All surfaces must clean, dry and free of contaminants.
