This floor is rock solid, you can drive trucks, forklifts, and rubber-tracked machinery on it, so kitchen duty is child's play for this coating! Our floor epoxy is USDA approved for all food service applications, whether in commercial or industrial-sized applications. Very few epoxy floor coatings, if any, have all the characteristics needed to survive long-term in these environments. They must have high adhesion ratings, very high Shore D hardness ratings (ours has the highest rating possible), high impact resistance rating, and a very good abrasion resistance rating (ours has the best). These are the four most important factors that determine how well an epoxy floor coating will perform under harsh conditions. Water-based or hybrid epoxies, such as cyclialiphatic epoxies, have no chance at surviving long term. This product is at the top of the epoxy technology spectrum. We have two versions available. A standard prime and epoxy floor system with traditional dry times for facilities that don't have a critical downtime issue. Or an incredible No-Prep Instant primer option allowing you to prime over minimally prepared concrete and epoxy over it in 15–20 minutes and saving time and labor! This epoxy floor coating consists of our high performance primer coat which outperforms most other actual epoxies followed by the hardest chemically cross linked epoxy finish coat with a hardness rating several levels above construction hard hats, best abrasion loss rating of only 2mgs (the lower the number the better), highest adhesion ratings(Up To 500psi), highest impact ratings(Up To 160 ft/lbs). Dropped heavy pots, pans, mixing bins, and dishes have no effect on this coating. It can also take hot oil splashes of up to 350 degrees. Other epoxy floor coatings will boil right off under a hot oil spill. This means your floor with our chemically hardened finish will handle abuse better than standard epoxies, which means your floor will stay looking newer longer and stay easy to clean longer. Although your first install costs may be slightly higher with this floor coating, your total cost of ownership is much lower because it will last five times as long as any other epoxy floor coating you can buy. Eliminating downtime and heartache, and less overall expense from not having to redo your floor every couple of years.
Your floor will also be highly chemical and acid resistant. Can withstand power washings and caustic wash downs if and when needed. It's also waterproof, mold, mildew, and bacteria proof, and self-extinguishing. Commonly used with our Cove Base Kit to form a sanitary joint at the floor/wall junction.
Can be applied over existing coatings, Quarry Tile or Ceramic Tile Floors. Simply clean tiles and prime with our Proprietary Bonding Primer, let dry, and then apply the epoxy. We also have a No Prep Instant Primer that doesn't require grinding or etching. This remarkable primer allows you to prime over your floor as long as it's oil and grease-free and then apply the epoxy immediately over it. Saving tremendous prep time and money!
