Epoxy Floor Systems

Maintenance shop floors can be coated with any of our three shop-rated epoxy flooring systems. Heavy Tonnage System is a two-layer chemically hardened epoxy for extreme protection and is virtually indestructible.

The Military/Industrial System is a three-layer system for very heavy-duty protection, and the Commercial System is a two-layer system for standard heavy-duty protection, where there is light to medium forklift and equipment traffic.

This shop was done with the three-layer military-industrial system that's 25 mils thick with an abrasion loss rating of only four mgs. To put that in perspective, the best concrete floor enamel and most off-the-shelf epoxies have a loss rating of around 50 mgs and a thickness of about four mils. So military-industrial coating is exponentially thicker and stronger.

If you want to avoid redoing your maintenance shop floor for 10 years or more, then ArmorGarage is your only option. Having to empty out your shop and redo your floor is not worth the few dollars you may save with standard type epoxies that aren't military grade quality.

Heavy Tonnage Epoxy Flooring

Heavy Tonnage doesn't just stand for heavy weight, it also stands for heavy volume of traffic, heavy impacts, and abrasion.

This shop was done in light gray with the two-layer heavy tonnage epoxy system. It has a chemically hardened finish that has an amazing abrasion loss rating of only three mgs.

We call it the toughest epoxy on earth cause it takes any amount of abuse and still keeps its good looks for years. You can drive your forklifts with the forks angled down at the floor, and it won't damage this coating.

The steel columns were done with our Steel Pipe & Metal Epoxy Mastic. It's super thick and tough as nails, so it won't chip off from impacts, which happen all the time in shop environments.
