Epoxy Floor Systems for Maintenance Shops

Maintenance shop floors can be coated with any of our three shop-rated epoxy flooring systems or install our solid core PVC tiles, each engineered for a different level of duty:

  • Commercial System (2-Layer): Standard heavy-duty protection for light to medium forklift and equipment traffic
  • Military-Industrial System (3-Layer): 25 mils thick with an abrasion loss rating of only 4 mg β€” very heavy-duty protection
  • Heavy Tonnage System (2-Layer Chemically Hardened): Extreme protection, virtually indestructible
  • Interlocking PVC Floor Tiles very heavy duty, virtually industructible, no downtime, no floor prep.

To put it in perspective: The best concrete floor enamel and most off-the-shelf epoxies have a loss rating of around 50 mg and a thickness of about 4 mils. Our Military-Industrial coating is exponentially thicker and stronger.

Heavy Tonnage Epoxy Flooring

Heavy Tonnage doesn't just stand for heavy weight β€” it also stands for heavy volume of traffic, heavy impacts, and abrasion.

This shop was done in light gray with the two-layer Heavy Tonnage epoxy system. It has a chemically hardened finish with an amazing abrasion loss rating of only 3 mg. We call it the toughest epoxy on earth β€” and you'll agree once you see how nothing affects it.

Fork Test: You can drive your forklifts with the forks angled down at the floor, and it won't damage this coating.

The steel columns were done with our Steel Pipe & Metal Epoxy Mastic β€” super thick and tough as nails, so it won't chip off from the impacts that happen all the time in shop environments.
