ArmorGarage Super Deck Paint
Stop repainting your wood deck every year. Our industrial-grade breathable deck paint lasts 7–10 years — not one season.
Breathable Formula • Works on Pressure-Treated Wood • 7–10 Year LifespanWhy Other Deck Paints Peel Off Every Year
Decks and porches are the most difficult surfaces to keep painted. We get hundreds of calls a week from frustrated homeowners seeking solutions for decks that keep peeling every season. Here’s exactly why it happens:
No matter how much porch and deck enamel you apply, it’s impossible to seal wood 100%. Moisture seeps in from the unpainted underside and through tiny cracks and pinholes. That moisture migrates toward the surface. On a hot day it tries to evaporate out; on a winter day it freezes and expands. Either way, it pushes right up through the non-flexible, non-breathing enamel — cracking it open and peeling it off.
Repainting with the same type of deck paint will not solve the problem. The only thing it accomplishes is producing thicker pieces of paint that peel off. Not even epoxy can stop this from happening.
The sun is the other great destroyer. Decks with long exposure to sunlight can have their coatings burned off in a year or less. If your deck gets sun most of the day, choose a darker color and apply two coats on the floor boards for maximum longevity.
Why ArmorGarage Super Deck Paint Actually Works
ArmorGarage Super Deck Paint is an industrial-grade, breathable coating engineered with Molecular Adaptive Technology. It penetrates into the wood for superior adhesion while allowing the wood to breathe. This means moisture inside the wood can escape freely — eliminating the freeze/thaw and evaporation pressure that destroys conventional deck paints.
The coating expands and contracts with temperature changes right alongside the wood, so it never cracks, never lifts, and never peels. Customers who used to repaint every spring now go 7–10 years between coats.
This is not a hardware store deck enamel. Those products claim durability but don’t let wood breathe, can’t handle expansion and contraction, and are notorious for peeling in one season or less. ArmorGarage Super Deck Paint is in a completely different category.
Works on Pressure-Treated Lumber
Pressure-treated lumber is notorious for not holding coatings. The chemicals infused to resist rot also resist most common paints and stains — something home centers won’t tell you because they want you buying expensive wood and repainting every year.
ArmorGarage Super Deck Paint is specially formulated to bond to pressure-treated wood. New pressure-treated wood should be allowed to age at least one season before coating.

Remove all prior coatings and clean wood. Prior coatings can be sanded off and or chemically removed. If stain was used previously simply sand surface to clean and rough up, stain in the wood is ok as long as the surface is clean. Use our concentrated deck cleaner to thoroughly clean wood. Once wood is completely dry it's very easy to apply and no primer is needed, simply roll on two coats allowing first coat to dry in about 3 hours. Do not apply if rain is forecast within 24 hours or temperature will drop below 50 degrees within 24 hrs.
