Brewery Epoxy Flooring

Breweries & Distilleries can be done in several ways, depending on size and budget. We offer three epoxy floor systems specifically engineered for the brewery and distillery industries. Our guidelines are as follows. The three-layer military-industrial system is generally used for customer areas such as tasting bars and dining areas. It's resistant to furniture scraping and high impacts and is slip-resistant. The Heavy Tonnage Epoxy Floor System is what we like to call the toughest epoxy on earth and is made for extreme duty and can be used in any part of the brewery or distillery.

For customers who use highly caustic chemicals/acids for washdowns and sanitation, we strongly suggest using one of the acid-resistant systems in those areas. This floor was done with the Standard Duty Chemical Resistant Epoxy because it only sees light-duty traffic on it.

While the chemical and acid-resistant coatings are more expensive, they will last a lot longer and therefore provide the lowest cost of ownership in the long run. Using the wrong epoxy floor coating to save a few dollars is a big mistake that will result in premature failure and costly downtime, not to mention the cost of redoing your floors.

It's been our experience that commercial or garage-grade floor epoxies just don't work in these applications. Not even ours!

Super Duty Brewery Epoxy Floor

This floor was done with the Heavy Tonnage epoxy System in Tile Red.

This coating has a bunker-type hardened finish and is very chemically resistant. It can take heavy impacts from kegs, heavy forklift traffic, and heavy repetitive traffic with ease.

We call it the toughest epoxy on earth; it's really difficult to damage it or wear it out.

Urethane Self Leveling Cement

For floors where it's required by code or by specifications, we have our Self-Leveling Urethane Epoxy Cement.

It's applied at a thickness up to 1/4" with gauge rake and pin roller.

We recommend that when using this product, you do a full broadcast of either sand or heavy aluminum oxide to provide a textured finish. Then topcoat with either our two-part military grade topcoat or our acid & chemical resistant topcoat if the floor will be subject to heavy caustic washdowns.
