Breweries & Distilleries

Breweries can be done in a number of ways depending on size and budget. We have three epoxy floor systems engineered specifically for the brewery and distillery industry. Our guidlines are as follows. The 3 layer military industrial system is generally used for customer areas such as tasting bar and eating areas. It's resistant to furniture scrapping and high impacts and is slip resistant. The Heavy Tonnage Epoxy Floor System is what we like to call the toughest epoxy on earth and is made for extreme duty and can be use in any part of the brewery or distillery.

For customers that use highly caustic chemicals/acids for washdowns and sanitation we strongly suggest using the acid resistant system. While it is more expensive it will last a lot longer and therefore provide the lowest cost of ownership in the long run. Using the wrong epoxy floor coating to save a few dollars is a big mistake that will result in premature failure and costly downtime, not to mention the cost of redoing your floors. It's been our experience that commercial or garage grade floor epoxies just don't work in these applications. Not even ours!
