Engineered Where Standard Industrial Coatings Fail

ArmorGarage has developed a unique coating specifically for extra-harsh environment applications where standard industrial coatings degrade, delaminate, or fail within months. This formula combines our extra heavy-duty epoxy base with proprietary nano particle reinforcement to deliver performance no conventional epoxy paint can match.

The nano particle infusion creates an impregnable molecular barrier — impervious to aggressive chemicals, severe mechanical impact, and continuous abrasion from the harshest industrial operating conditions. At 15 mils per coat, single application coverage exceeds what most competitors deliver in two coats.

Self-priming on steel — no primer coat required on metal surfaces. Remove loose rust and dirt, apply directly. Saves significant labor time and cost on large pipe and tank projects where separate priming would add days to the schedule.

We know of no other product that can match the performance of this coating. If you've struggled to find a coating that survives your specific harsh application — underground pipe corrosion, tank lining failure, mining equipment wear — this is your answer.

Proven Applications

Purpose-built for the environments that destroy conventional coatings:

Underground Pipes
Steel Tank Linings
Rotating Vessels
Underground Mining Equipment
Petroleum & Refinery Plants
Fertilizer Plants
Coal Mining Operations
Paper Mills
Chemical Processing
Treatment Plants
Power Plants
Marine Applications

Rotating vessel capability: The no-sag, high-build formula bonds to the interior of mixing vessels and rotating equipment that handle impacting objects and highly abrasive materials — a notoriously difficult application where most coatings fail within weeks.

Performance Characteristics

■ Extreme Chemical Resistance
Withstands acids, solvents, and aggressive industrial chemicals — including fertilizer compounds, petroleum derivatives, and processing chemicals
◆ Superior Impact Resistance
Handles severe mechanical abuse from impacting objects in rotating vessels and heavy equipment without delamination or failure
★ Exceptional Abrasion Resistance
Resists constant wear from abrasive materials, underground soil contact, and high-velocity fluid flow inside pipes and vessels
⚡ Self-Priming on Steel
No primer required on metal surfaces — bonds directly to prepared steel and iron, eliminating a full application stage
◗ No-Sag on Vertical Surfaces
High-build formula applies to vertical and overhead surfaces including pipe interiors and tank walls without dripping or sagging
✔ 220°F Temperature Tolerance
Rated for continuous operation at up to 220°F — handles hot process lines, steam environments, and high-temperature industrial equipment
  • USDA approved — suitable for food-related facilities and processing equipment
  • Low VOC — meets environmental regulations for occupied and sensitive facilities
  • Can be thinned up to 20% with Xylene for spray application on large surface areas
  • DIY application — applied by in-house maintenance staff with roller, brush, or spray. No specialty contractor required

Surface Preparation

■ Metal Surfaces
Remove all loose rust and dirt. Self-priming — no primer coat required. Apply directly to prepared steel or iron.
◆ Concrete Surfaces
Acid etch or diamond grind for proper surface profile and adhesion. Standard concrete prep applies.

Existing coatings: Can be applied over existing sound paint — solvent clean or lightly sand to ensure surface cleanliness, then apply. The nano particle formula bonds over existing coatings where standard epoxies would fail to adhere long-term.
