Safety Line Striping Epoxy

Industrial-grade two-component epoxy engineered for permanent, high-visibility safety lines on concrete floors. Factory ground pigment powders deliver deeper, more vivid color that outlasts liquid-tinted competitors by years.

Cures at 35°F • Apply to Damp Surfaces • 450 LF per Gallon

Why ArmorGarage Line Striping Epoxy

β—†
Factory Ground Pigments
Real pigment powders ground at the factory — not liquid tints. Far superior depth of color, coverage, and UV stability.
❄
Cures Down to 35°F
Apply year-round. Most competitors require 45°F+ minimum. Ours cures a full 10 degrees colder.
β——
Damp & Wet Surface Ready
No waiting for bone-dry concrete. Apply directly to damp and wet surfaces without adhesion loss.
β–
450 LF per Gallon
One gallon stripes 450 linear feet at 4” wide. Far more coverage per dollar than competitor kits.
βš™
Forklift & Heavy Traffic Rated
Engineered for constant forklift, pallet jack, and heavy foot traffic. Will not chip, peel, or wear through.

7 OSHA Safety Colors
All standard safety colors plus Safety Green and Black. More options than the 5-color competitors.

The Pigment Powder Advantage

Most line striping epoxies use liquid colorant tints — essentially concentrated dye stirred into the resin. It’s cheap to manufacture, but it produces washed-out color that fades faster under traffic and UV exposure. The pigment particles are inconsistent in size and poorly dispersed throughout the resin.

ArmorGarage uses factory ground pigment powders. The pigment is mechanically ground at the manufacturing facility and homogeneously dispersed into the resin under controlled conditions. The result is a coating with dramatically deeper color saturation, more uniform coverage per mil of thickness, and significantly longer color retention under abrasion and UV.

What this means on your floor: Bolder, more vivid safety lines from Day 1 — and they stay that way for years longer than liquid-tinted competitors. The color goes all the way through the film, so even as the surface wears under forklift traffic, the line stays bright and visible.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

  1. Clean the surface of all oil, dirt, grease, and loose debris. For best results, degrease with TSP solution (1 cup per 5 gallons of water) and allow to dry. On damp surfaces, remove any standing water — a uniformly damp surface is fine.
  2. Abrade the surface with a sander, wire brush, or drywall screen along the line path. This gives the epoxy a mechanical bond profile to grip.
  3. Tape off your lines using a high-quality masking tape. Press the tape edges firmly against the concrete to prevent bleed-under, which causes ragged line edges.

Mixing & Application

  1. Stir Part B (resin) first to re-disperse the factory ground pigment that may have settled during storage. This ensures full color depth.
  2. Pour all of Part A (hardener) into Part B and mix thoroughly with an electric drill and jiffy-type mixing blade for 3 minutes. Scrape the sides and bottom of the can.
  3. Apply immediately after mixing. Use a narrow short-nap roller for best results. Float the roller over the surface rather than pressing hard — roller pressure controls final film thickness. A brush can be used for tight areas.
  4. Remove tape while the epoxy is still tacky for the cleanest edges. If you wait too long, the cured epoxy may lift with the tape.

Working time is limited. Once mixed, the epoxy will begin to set. Do not leave mixed material sitting in the bucket — pour and roll immediately. At 75°F, pot life in the can is approximately 20 minutes. At lower temperatures, you’ll have more working time.

Apply at 35°F and above. Unlike competitors that require 45°F+ surface temps, our formula cures reliably down to 35°F. This means you can stripe in early spring, late fall, or in cold warehouse environments where other products simply won’t work.

Damp surface application: Our moisture-tolerant formula bonds directly to damp concrete. No need to wait days for a freshly washed or rained-on floor to completely dry. Just remove any standing puddles and apply. This alone can save days of project downtime.

Coverage Guide

1 gallon = 450 linear feet at 4” wide. Use the table below to estimate how many gallons you need.

Line Width Coverage / Gallon Typical Use
