Aluminum Epoxy Foam Roof Coating

Industrial-grade epoxy roof coating engineered to protect polyurethane foam roofs from UV damage. NOT a retail-grade aluminum fibered coating — this is a true epoxy that won’t damage foam, delaminate, or crack. One coat, no primer, 12-year recoat cycle.

Apply 20°F to 140°F • Cures in 1–2 Hours • 12-Year Recoat Cycle
Industrial Grade Epoxy Won’t Damage Foam Apply 20°F – 140°F Cures in 1–2 Hours No Primer Needed One Coat Coverage 300–400 SF/Gal 12-Year Recoat Cycle
True Industrial Epoxy
NOT a retail aluminum fibered coating. Industrial-grade epoxy with superior adhesion, durability, and UV protection.
Extreme Temp Range
Apply in cold weather down to 20°F or hot weather up to 140°F. Operates from -40°F to 250°F.
Fast 1–2 Hour Cure
Cures rapidly for minimal roof downtime. One coat is normally all that’s required with no priming necessary.
Foam Safe Formula
Adheres to all foam roof types without damaging, delaminating, or cracking the underlying polyurethane foam.
Heat Reflective Finish
Satin Aluminum finish reflects heat, reducing cooling costs. Takes on the texture of your existing foam surface.
Easy Application
Simply clean roof, stir contents, then roll, brush, or spray on. No special equipment or experience needed.
Self-Bonding Recoat
Recoat every ~12 years by simply cleaning and reapplying. Automatically bonds to the original coat unlike silicone coatings.
Great Coverage Rate
300–400 sq ft per gallon. One coat normally required. Sold in 1 gallon cans; 5 gallon pails for orders of 50+ gallons.

Why Your Foam Roof Needs Protection

Polyurethane foam roofs are great insulators and great leak stoppers. But they have one critical weakness: UV rays. Left unprotected, your expensive foam roof will deteriorate fast, requiring a costly reapplication.

What Won’t Work: Inexpensive retail water-based or aluminum fibered coatings will wear off very quickly — and risk damage to your polyurethane foam. Standard industrial roof coatings add significant cost while the solvents can damage the foam underneath.

ArmorGarage Aluminum Epoxy Foam Roof Coating solves both problems. It’s a true industrial-grade epoxy that provides superior UV protection and durability without any solvents that could damage your foam. It cures fast, applies easily, and lasts approximately 12 years before needing a recoat.

Simple Application

Clean the roof surface, stir the contents in the can, then roll, brush, or spray on at 300–400 sq ft per gallon. One coat is normally all that’s required with no priming necessary. The coating finishes to a heat-reflecting Satin Aluminum color and will take on the texture of the foam — either smooth or rough textured finish.

Standing Water: If you have any low spots that hold water for more than 48 hours, we recommend repairing those areas before coating. Standing water will have negative effects on the coating over time.

Recoating is simple: Approximately every 12 years, just clean the roof and reapply the coating. It will automatically bond to the original coat — unlike silicone coatings that require special adhesion prep.
