Extra Hard Anti Scratch Epoxy Flooring
Specially formulated two layer epoxy coating system consisting of our high performance primer and a chemically hardened epoxy topcoat designed to be impervious to sharp claws and other scratch producers found in kennels and animal care facilities. These floors see high amount of scratching and digging by dogs & cats that can quickly dull and wear out standard epoxy floor coatings. This coating is waterproof, anti-microbial, seamless, and has a Teflon like finish that is very stain and resistant to all animal fluids. High gloss finish brightens your rooms and is super easy to keep clean since it's a non-stick surface.
This epoxy has a hardness rating of Shore D 90+, that is harder than construction hard hats plus it is 30 mils thick. The combination of extra hard surface and extra thickness ensures your floor's high-gloss finish stays looking new the longest versus only looking good for the first six months.

We tested this coating with our forklifts in our warehouse; we drove the forklifts around with the forks tilted down onto the floor and they had no effect on the coating! This is the kind of toughness you need wherever animals are present, so you don't have to worry about recoating your floors for a very long time..
Sold in 4 gallon sets of primer and epoxy topcoat. Coverage is 300-350 sf depending on surface conditions.
Application is very easy. Floor must be clean, dry and profiled either by acid etching or diamond grinding. Once floor is clean and dry, mix primer in a 1:1 ratio and roll out like regular paint. Let dry 5-8 hours depending on temperature. Do not let more than 24 hours pass before applying epoxy. Primer is ready for epoxy when you can press your thumb into it without leaving a fingerprint.
Next mix epoxy in a 2:1 ratio, only mix 1 gallon of epoxy per person rolling. Mix for 2 1/2 minutes and pour directly onto floor in a bead from left to right. Spread out with supplied squeegee and then back-roll to even out and spread further with lint free roller. If using nonslip additive, disperse onto epoxy during back-rolling. Use 1.5 units of nonslip per 3 gallons of epoxy for best results.
Allow epoxy to dry overnight. Light-medium traffic next day, heavy traffic on second day.
