Industrial-Grade Direct-to-Metal Epoxy

ArmorGarage two-part direct-to-metal epoxy is an extra-thick mastic designed for application directly to steel surfaces without primer. At 20 mils per coat, it's five times thicker than typical metal paints, water-based coatings, and one-part epoxy products.

Engineered for all industrial applications: process and HVAC piping, mechanical equipment, catwalks, steel stairways, iron rails, industrial machines, enclosures, and infrastructure.

Extra-Thick Mastic Formula

One-coat coverage at 20 mils thick—encapsulates sharp edges and covers surface irregularities.

Best Safety Colors In Stock

Our safety colors are made with our proprietary factory ground pigment powders as opposed to liquid tints. True color coverage in one coat as opposed to multiple coats with liquid tinted coatings. Saving time & material.

Minimal Surface Prep

Wire brush loose rust, wipe clean, and apply—no sandblasting or grinding required

Cost-Effective Solution

Reduces ownership costs by eliminating constant recoating and extensive prep work

Outperforms Standard Metal Coatings

ArmorGarage Metal Epoxy significantly outperforms all acrylic, water-based, and one-part metal epoxies. Standard residential-grade products simply don't last, regardless of advertised guarantees.

If your facility routinely experiences coating wear on equipment, piping, and metal surfaces, this is your solution. Traditional one-part coatings prone to peeling and chipping require previous coatings and rust to be sandblasted or ground off, then primed—a time-consuming and costly process.

The ArmorGarage Advantage: Wire brush loose rust, paint over it, and apply our coating.  Ideal for applications where extensive prep isn't feasible or plant shutdown time is limited.

Safety Color advantage, our factory ground pigment powders provide the highest quality colors requiring only one coat for complete coverage with no bleed through. Typical coatings are liquid tinted which in high pigment safety colors yield much less covergae and suffer from high bleed through rates requiring multiple coats.

What Our Customers Say

Montell Fabrication & Rebuild LLC

Five star customer testimonial from Montell Fabrication for epoxy coating quality and reliability

Metallic Color Chart

Approximately 220sf/gal. Coverage is dependent on application and surface condition. Do not apply below 45 degrees. For applications below 45 degrees order the Low Temp Version. For high surface temp applications up to 220 degrees order the Low Temp Version also.

Can be rolled, brushed or sprayed. This product is very thick unlike standard epoxies, we recommend applying as is but can be thinned if needed with a few ounces of MEK to desired viscosity. Do not add more than 5 ozs of MEK per mixed gallon. Mix per label instructions and apply. Steel surfaces should have all loose rust or loose existing coatings removed. Mix in a 4:1 ratio, has pot life of 1-2 hrs depending on temperature and humidity. Cures in 6-8 hrs. Recommended for indoor applications. Outdoor applications must use the topcoat. When using topcoat one base coat is all that is needed, allow base coat to fully cure before applying topcoat. Topcoat can be applied by airless sprayer, roller or brush at an aproximate spread rate of 300 sf/gal.
