Don't Just Seal Your Concrete — Give It a Coating That Lasts
Clear Coat is our proprietary fast-drying, single-component polyurea epoxy coating for concrete. This is a cost-effective, chemical-resistant, easy-to-clean, and super-easy-to-apply product that penetrates and permanently bonds to your concrete — leaving a thick, durable wear surface that sealers simply can't match.
Resistant to all vehicle fluids, solvents, cleaners, and aviation fuel. Suitable for outdoor applications and will not yellow. Cannot be compared to urethanes, sealers, or water-based clear epoxies — this is an entirely different class of product.
Why Concrete Sealers Always Fail
Typical clear coats for concrete are nothing more than sealers that look good when first applied but dull and wear out very quickly — requiring constant resealing. It's the same thing that happens when you seal a deck instead of coating it: you keep resealing every year until it's a total failure and you need to grind everything off and start over.
- β Thin film that dulls and wears quickly
- β Requires resealing every 1–2 years
- β Not resistant to hot tires
- β Yellows from UV exposure
- β Poor chemical resistance
- β Water-based = weak bond
- β Thick, permanent wear surface
- β Apply once — lasts for years
- β Hot tire proof
- β UV resistant — won't yellow
- β Resists solvents, fuels, cleaners
- β Polyurea epoxy = penetrates & bonds permanently
Why not do it the right way the first time? The money you spend on repeated resealing quickly exceeds the cost of a single Clear Coat application that actually lasts. Dollar for dollar, it doesn't get any better than this coating for a cost-effective way to protect and enhance your floor.
The Perfect Protective Topcoat for Stained Concrete
The problem with stained concrete is that the stain wears off fairly quickly, leaving your floor in an unsightly condition. Clear Coat is the ideal solution — it locks in the stain and protects it with a durable, high-gloss surface that keeps your stained floor looking beautiful for years.
Outperforms contractor clear coats that are usually low-quality, residential-duty products. If you want real longevity from your newly stained floor, this is the product you need.
Ideal applications: Stained concrete protection, man caves, showrooms, retail spaces, light-duty warehouses, garages with car traffic, and anywhere a cost-effective, high-performance clear coating is desired.
Cure Times & Technical Specifications
Cure times are based on 75°F at 50% humidity. The cooler the temperature, the longer you should let it cure. Do not apply below 50°F floor temperature. Above 75°F, cure times will be shorter.
Add Industrial Non-Slip Protection
We recommend the application of our industrial non-slip additive to add grip to the floor. Since it's made from high-tech micro-tubular aluminum, it also adds even more durability by acting like rebar inside the coating — reinforcing it from within while providing a textured, slip-resistant surface.
Two benefits in one additive: Enhanced traction on the surface plus structural reinforcement throughout the coating. Simply mix it into the Clear Coat before applying.
Need Something Heavier Duty?
Clear Coat is suitable for light forklift traffic, car traffic, man caves, and general-purpose use. For high-traffic or heavy-traffic floors, we recommend the full Military Industrial Epoxy Flooring System — available in a multitude of colors with an optional color flake finish.
We also offer a comprehensive range of epoxy floor coatings tailored to meet various needs:

Simply acid etch or diamond grind floor to profile and remove any surface contaminants.
If etching we recommend using a 3 parts water to 1 part muriatic acid ratio for most floors, if your floor is new or very dirty we recommend using a 2 parts water to 1 part acid ratio solution and to do two back to back ethes follow by scrubbing in TSP powder at 1lb/1000sf prior to the final rinse. Allow floor to completely dry 24-48 hrs depending on temperature and humidity.
If grinding, the Floor Prep Machine from Home Depot does a good job for floors under 2000 Sq Ft. For larger floors we recommend renting the largest diamond grinder with new 25 grit bits with Vac attachment that you can handle. Just prior to application use a good leaf blower to remove any lingering dust. Refer to the How To Prep & Paint Your Floor Page located on our Home Page to see what a properly prepared floor should look like and for other epoxy application tips.
Product is single component so no mixing required just a simple stir in the can with paint stick wil do. Once floor is prepped roll on with 3/8" nap lint free roller at 250 sf/gal. Tack Free in 2-3 hrs second coat can be applied if desired in 3-6 hrs. Do no let mor than 20 hours pass if second coating is going to applied. If recoating window is missed floor must be roughed up with 100 grit sandpaper. Full cure is 2-3 days depending on temperature and Humidity. Light traffic can be put on floor in 8-12 hours, we recommed 48 hrs prior to heavy equipment traffic. If nonslip is desired(always recommended) Use 3/4-1 unit of Armor Nonslip per gallon of coating mixed into coating prior to rolling. Continuous mixing of nonslip in can should be done to avoid settling. Always use a roller pan when using nonslip to avoid dull spots.
