Engineered For Where Standard Industrial Coatings Fail

 

ArmorGarage has developed a unique coating specifically for extra-harsh environment applications where standard industrial coatings degrade, delaminate, or fail within months. This formula combines our extra heavy-duty epoxy base with proprietary nano particle reinforcement to deliver performance no conventional epoxy paint can match.

The nano particle infusion creates an impregnable molecular barrier — impervious to aggressive chemicals, severe mechanical impact, and continuous abrasion from the harshest industrial operating conditions. At 12 mils per coat, single application coverage exceeds what most competitors deliver in two coats. Can be applied in two coats for up to 24 mils thickness.

Self-priming on steel — no primer coat required on metal surfaces. Remove loose rust and dirt, apply directly. Bonds to tight rust. Saves significant labor time and cost on large pipe and tank projects where separate priming and extensive prep would add days to the schedule.

Rotating vessel capability: The no-sag, high-build formula bonds to the interior of mixing vessels and rotating equipment that handle impacting objects and highly abrasive materials — a notoriously difficult application where most coatings fail within weeks.

Surface Preparation

 
■ Metal Surfaces
Remove all loose rust and dirt. Self-priming — no primer coat required. Apply directly to prepared steel or iron.
◆ Concrete Surfaces
Acid etch or diamond grind for proper surface profile and adhesion. Standard concrete prep applies.

Existing coatings: Can be applied over existing sound paint — solvent clean or lightly sand to ensure surface cleanliness, then apply. The nano particle formula bonds over existing coatings where standard epoxies would fail to adhere long-term.
