- Seamless finish: that's high-gloss, high-strength, non-porous, non-staining and non-peeling
vs. Paint:
- Paint air-dries on the surface β Weak adhesion
- Paint peels & chips β Epoxy becomes part of slab
- Water based epoxies are no better than regular floor paint. WB in the product name, means it's water based
Result: 10-15+ years of resistance to wear, chemicals, moisture, hot tires & heavy traffic vs 1-2 years for paint.

Proper preparation ensures your epoxy floor lasts 10-15+ years. Here's what you need:
- 100% dry slab without damp spots
- Clean surface acid etch (twice on new & very dirty floors) or diamond grind
- Temperature: 55-100Β°F during application
- Enough product for full coverage (order with 10% safety margin)
- Proper ventilation (our epoxy is odorless, but primers/topcoats may have odor)
- Calibrated mixing cups for accurate mixing of the Part A & B epoxies
- Xylene or mineral spirits for cleanup (epoxy doesn't come off once cured!)
- Tarp to create mixing area
