Epoxy Floor Coatings for Any Type of Floor
Epoxy floor coatings are multi-layer resin systems designed to permanently bond to properly prepared concrete, creating a seamless, chemical-resistant, high-gloss surface that outperforms paint and sealers.
ArmorGarage epoxy flooring systems are used in home garages, commercial shops, warehouses, and industrial facilities because they’re built to handle hot tires, heavy vehicles, chemicals, and long-term wear.
Instead of a one-size-fits-all product, ArmorGarage offers multiple epoxy flooring systems so you can match the coating to how your floor is actually used — from daily vehicles to workshops, trailers, and heavy equipment.
Our DIY-friendly kits ship complete and are available in two flake options, standard flake coverage and a heavy granite-like flake coverage, both with optional primer and military-grade topcoat upgrades for maximum durability. We also offer solid color systems and a swirling 3D marble-like metallic epoxy kit, .
A properly installed ArmorGarage epoxy floor can deliver 15+ years of performance under normal garage use.

Why Choose ArmorGarage Epoxy Floor Coatings
High-performance epoxy flooring is meant to be installed once — and last. ArmorGarage epoxy floor coatings are engineered with high-build resins, advanced adhesion technology, and optional military-grade topcoats to deliver long-term durability in demanding environments.
Our systems are designed to resist:
- Tire abrasion and heat-related softening
- Dropped-object and point-load impacts
- Oil, fuel, and chemical spills
- Road salts and corrosive contaminants
- Staining, dulling, and premature wear
This performance is why facilities like Dynamic Raceworks chose our Large Format Three-Layer Military & Industrial Epoxy System. Their 20,000 sq ft high-performance race shop floor was installed by in-house staff over a single long weekend — delivering a professional-grade result without contractor pricing, saving them 75%.
All ArmorGarage epoxy floor coatings ship free as complete turnkey systems, with correctly matched materials and quantities for easy installation and consistent professional-looking results.
We do not offer a one-size-fits-all epoxy coating. Each ArmorGarage system is engineered for specific traffic loads, environments, and appearance requirements — ensuring long-term performance rather than short-term cosmetic results.

Epoxy Flooring With Color Flakes
Decorative, high-build epoxy flooring systems designed for high-wear concrete floors. Color flake epoxy delivers long-term durability, chemical resistance, added slip resistance, and a finished look that hides imperfections while staying easy to maintain.
ArmorGarage offers two professional-grade flake epoxy systems: Armor Chip and Armor Granite . Armor Chip provides a balanced flake appearance with approximately 70% coverage, while Armor Granite delivers a heavier granite-style finish with 90–95% coverage for maximum visual impact and surface protection.
Both systems are engineered as complete multi-layer epoxy flooring solutions and can be paired with optional military-grade topcoats for enhanced abrasion and chemical resistance in demanding environments.

Metallic Epoxy Flooring Systems
ArmorGarage Metallic Epoxy Flooring creates a seamless, high-gloss, three-dimensional finish unlike any other epoxy floor system. Metallic pigments flow and move during application, ensuring that no two floors ever look the same.
Each metallic epoxy floor is custom-created during installation. Installers control the swirl pattern, depth, and movement of the pigments to produce a unique, marble-like appearance with natural variation and visual depth. The floor shown here uses the Manatee metallic base.
ArmorGarage metallic epoxy systems are engineered as complete multi-layer solutions, including primer, metallic epoxy, and a high-performance clear topcoat designed to protect the finish from wear, abrasion, and staining.
Metallic epoxy flooring is commonly used in show garages, retail spaces, studios, lobbies, and other environments where appearance matters as much as durability.

Commercial Epoxy Floor Coating Systems
ArmorGarage Commercial Epoxy Floor Systems are engineered for facilities that require a durable, uniform, solid-color epoxy floor with long-term resistance to wear, abrasion, and daily traffic.
These systems consist of a high-performance epoxy primer followed by an ultra-durable, color-matched topcoat designed to protect the surface from dulling, staining, and mechanical abrasion in demanding environments.
Slip resistance is achieved using a micro tubular aluminum additive rather than conventional grit. This reinforcement increases surface durability while maintaining traction, creating a tougher wear layer without the aggressive texture associated with traditional aggregates.
Commercial epoxy flooring is commonly used in workshops, service bays, warehouses, mechanical rooms, and other operational spaces where appearance, safety, and long-term performance matter.
ArmorGarage commercial epoxy systems are available in multiple formats to match floor size, traffic load, and downtime requirements, providing a practical and long-lasting solution for professional and industrial applications.

Industrial Epoxy Flooring Systems
ArmorGarage offers multiple high-performance epoxy flooring systems engineered for industrial environments where extreme durability, abrasion resistance, and long service life are required.
ArmorGarage Industrial Epoxy Flooring Systems are multi-layer, high-build epoxy systems designed for manufacturing facilities, warehouses, equipment rooms, and other demanding industrial applications. These systems are available in both small and large format installations to match floor size, traffic load, and downtime requirements.
For environments subject to extreme mechanical abuse, point loads, or continuous repetitive heavy traffic, ArmorGarage also offers a specialized Heavy Tonnage Epoxy Floor System engineered for maximum thickness, wear resistance, impact resistance, and chemcially hardened durability.
Industrial epoxy flooring is commonly used in facilities where forklifts, heavy equipment, chemicals, or continuous operations would quickly destroy conventional coatings.
In addition to industrial floor systems, ArmorGarage manufactures a wide range of specialty epoxy coatings for walls, wet environments, metal surfaces, and non-slip applications, all engineered to solve specific industrial challenges.

What Is Epoxy Flooring?
Epoxy flooring is a multi-layer, two-part resin coating system consisting of Part-A resins/pigments and Part-B hardener that, when mixed together, chemically cures and bonds into properly prepared concrete, forming a seamless, high-strength surface.
Unlike floor paint or single-coat sealers that air-dry on the surface, epoxy flooring becomes part of the slab itself—delivering superior resistance to wear, chemicals, moisture, hot tires, and heavy traffic.
Epoxy Flooring vs Epoxy Paint
- Epoxy flooring: chemically cures and bonds into concrete, cures hard, resists abrasion, chemicals, and hot tires
- Epoxy paint: air dries and dries on the surface, wears quickly, and is prone to peeling and staining
Many products marketed as “epoxy floor paint” contain little to no true epoxy resin. They are designed for short-term cosmetic improvement, not long-term performance.

What to Look for in a High-Quality Epoxy Floor Coating
You want an epoxy floor coating that has a high adhesion rating, high build thickness of a minimum of 14-30 mils, and most importantly, an abrasion loss rating of 20 mg or less. ArmorGarage epoxy floors have the best ratings in all three categories that you can trust to deliver the best looking, longest last epoxy coating for your project.
See the The Epoxy Facts & Fiction page to know what's true and what's just marketing hype before you buy.
Benefits of Epoxy Floor Coatings
Stronger Protection for Concrete: Thick resin coats shield your slab from staining, abrasion, cracking or chipping. This helps your concrete stay in good shape.
Better Resistance to Heat and Weight: These coatings handle hot tires and rolling equipment with ease. Your floor stays new-looking when cars park and turn on them.
Long Surface Life Under Daily Use: You get durable layers that handle during work sessions or daily routine movement, spills, and small impacts.
Improved Grip and Movement Safety: Texture options give shoes and wheels better traction on slick spots.
Easy Cleaning on Busy Floors: Epoxy helps floors clean fast after oil, dust, or dirt. Wipes and rinses remove surface mess with little effort. Your space stays cleaner through long work hours.
What You Need Before Applying Epoxy Floor Coatings
You need a floor that is dry, open, and ready for work. Your slab must stay free of dust, old paint, and any oil spots. You also need enough epoxy and topcoat on hand so you finish the job without stopping. This gives you a smooth path from start to finish.
Your work area should be the right temperature, ideally 55 degrees and warmer, and easy to move through. You need space for mixing, rolling, and stepping around the slab while applying the epoxy. Keep tools close and move anything that may get in your way. Paint resparators are recommended when applying primers and urethane topcoats, these can have strong odors, the epoxy is oderless since it's pure epoxy with no solvents.
- 100% Dry slab without damp spots
- Floor surface with all dust removed if diamond grinded
- Room temperature within the correct window 55-100 degrees
- Enough epoxy and topcoat for full coverage
- Xylene or mineral spirits for cleanup. Our epoxy doesn't come off once it cures!
