See details in the Must Read Tab below. They're not slippery, won't curl, bunch up, shift out of place or shred apart like other garage mats that are similar in look but not made with 100% polyvinyl or are cheap imitation imports. Armor Garage Floor Mats are 100% American-made, and 100% pure American polyvinyl, which is the highest quality material you can use for durability!

Ask where your mats are made before you buy. Imported mats are made with low quality control, and if you put two mats side by side, they won't line up or match up. Our standard grade mats are .075" thick and rated up to commercial duty usage.

Garage Floor Mats Not Just For Garages

Our garage floor mats are so versatile that they can be installed just about anywhere for just about any application. Just ask the Kangaroo Conservatory, their kangaroo population keeps growing, and they just keep ordering more garage mats to keep their little hopping friends comfortable.

All our garage mats are impervious to animal fluids and all vehicle fluids. Easily cleaned with mild soap such as Simple Green and a garden hose. Available in three widths, 7.5', 8.5' and 10', three colors and five patterns to fit any project needs.

Garage With Parked Vehicles on Flat Protective Floor Mats

Garage Floor Mats for Concrete Protection

At ArmorGarage, we make garage floor mats that protect concrete floors. Drips from cars and muddy shoes stay on the mat surface and keep your concrete floors protected.

Our mats use solid American made polyvinyl and are made for daily garage use. You can pick diamond, coin, mini coin, ribbed, or flat textures for grip. Each pattern helps water and grit stay where you can rinse it away cleanly.

Choose a width from 7.5, 8.5, or 10 feet, then choose a length that covers your bay. You roll the mat out, square it, then trim the edge to fit. For extra care, wash with mild soap, then use Hillway Direct Plus to reduce tire marks.

Materials Used in Our Garage Floor Mats

We make garage floor mats from American polyvinyl. The mat forms a thick layer over your concrete. Car fluid drips, road salt, and pet mess stay on the mat surface. You wipe or rinse the top, and your floor stays cleaner with less effort. Patterned surfaces add grip for shoes and tires and help keep dirt in one place.

Polyvinyl Material

Our mats use solid polyvinyl through the whole sheet. You get a strong layer made for daily garage use. The surface holds up under parked vehicles, rolling tires, and common shop work. Polyvinyl helps block oil, grease, gasoline, brake fluid, antifreeze, and battery acid from ruining your concrete floors.

Surface Texture and Grip

Surface patterns improve grip and help make cleanup easier. Diamond and coin textures add raised shapes under shoes. Ribbed texture holds water, slush, and mud in the channels. Mini coins add more small bumps for wet steps.

Flat texture helps carts and tool chests roll with less drag. Raised shapes can lift tires above small puddles. Ice and thick mud reduce grip, use care when walking.

Benefits of Garage Floor Mats

Our ArmorGarage mats help you keep concrete floors in better shape for longer. You control drips, tracked in dirt, and wet steps in one covered area.

Helps Protect Concrete

Concrete can stain from car drips and salt. Our mats keep many garage liquids on the top surface, rather than staining your concrete.

Helps Keep Floors Cleaner

You track dirt in from shoes and car tires. The mats holds the mess in one covered area. You sweep less from edges and corners. You just rinse the top mats when needed.

Adds Grip Underfoot

Patterned texture gives your shoes more traction. Diamond, coin, and mini coin raise the surface under wet steps. Ribbed texture holds water and slush in the channels.

Stays Flat During Daily Use

Our mats lay flat under parked vehicles and rolling tires. Flat pattern also helps carts and tool chests roll with less drag.

Works Year Round Garages

Rain can bring water and mud into the service bay or garage. Winter brings slush and road salt from vehicles in from the street. You can match the pattern of mat to your weather and routine.

What to Look for in a Garage Floor Mat Before Buy

Before buying a garage floor mat, focus on fit first for your parking bay or work zone. You measure the floor area, pick width and length, then choose a pattern that suits your needs.

Look at mat thickness and surface height, since both change padding and door space. For cleaning, choose a texture you can wash with water and a mild cleaner.

Check Before You Buy a Garage Floor Mat

  • Fit and Coverage: Measure your bay, then choose width and length that cover the space you use.
  • Pattern and Traction: Pick a texture that matches water tracks, mud, or shop wheels.
  • Thickness: Compare base thickness and raised height, then check door space at the edge.
  • Cleaning: Choose a surface you can wash, wipe, and rinse after drips and dirt.
  • Shipping and Custom Cuts: Decide on a stock length or a custom length, then check sizing before checkout.

Choose a Garage Floor Mat Pattern

We offer 5 surface patterns for garage floor mats. You pick a mat pattern that fits your garage use. You choose based on tire paths, wet entry areas, tool movement, and the floor look you want. Each pattern changes surface texture, cleanup effort, and how water or dirt stays contained.

Diamond Pattern Mat

At ArmorGarage, our diamond pattern gives a diamond plate look with a strong grip under shoes and tires. You can place it in a parking bay or near a door where dirt and water track in, and you roll it out with no adhesives needed.

Specs: .075 inch base, .130 inch at the top of the diamonds.

Large Coin Pattern Mat

Our large coin pattern adds raised circles that support traction for daily parking. We use it when you want a modern look that stays comfortable for walking through the garage. You can cover a main bay, a storage row, or a path to a side door where you turn and step often.

Specs: .075 inch base, .110 inch at the top of the coins.

Mini Coin Mat

For wet entry areas, mini coins give more small raised points across the surface. Our mini coin mat uses smaller coins and a textured finish to add traction on wet steps. You can use it near a door, beside a wash area, or where rainwater lands from tires. Traction drops on ice and thick mud, so walk with care.

Specs: .060 inch thickness.

Ribbed Mat

Rain, slush, and mud collect near tires, and ribbed texture helps keep that mess in lines. Our ribbed mat holds water in the grooves, so you can rinse one zone and keep the rest of the floor cleaner.

Specs: .055 inch base, .120 inch at the top of the ribs.

Flat Pattern Mat

Rolling gear needs a smoother surface, and flat pattern supports that job well. Our flat mat works for tool chests, carts, and table saw wheels that move across your work zone. You get a light textured finish that stays comfortable for walking while gear rolls with less drag.

Specs: .055 inch thickness.

Get the Right Garage Floor Mat Size and Fit for Your Garage

Start with the area you use most in your garage. You can cover a parking bay, a walking lane, or a work strip. Our mats come in 7.5, 8.5, and 10 foot widths, with lengths from 17 to 60 feet. Measure first, then choose size, then leave room at walls and doors for a clean edge.

Measure Your Space

Pick the area you want covered first. Measure the width across the floor line you use. Measure the length from the door toward the back wall. Mark posts, cabinets, and door tracks so the mat edge fits.

Width Options

Our mats come in 7.5 foot, 8.5 foot, and 10 foot widths. Match width to one bay coverage, then keep a small gap near walls.

Length Options

Lengths run from 17 to 60 feet, and length controls how far the mat reaches into the garage. Choose a longer length for full tire coverage plus a walking lane. Trim the end so the mat lines up with your wall line or work zone.

Thickness and Surface Height

Base thickness and top height change the space at a door edge. Raised textures sit higher than the base, while flat patterns stay lower. Measure the door edge area, then pick a pattern that fits.

Color Options

Many styles offer slate gray, sandstone, and black. Dark tones help hide tire marks and track in dirt. Color choices depend on the pattern, so review the option list before you select.

Pick the Right Garage Floor Mat for Every Season

When seasons change, your garage floor changes too. Water, slush, and salt track in near tires and near the door. We help you pick a pattern that keeps wet mess contained and keeps walking and parking safer.

  • Rainy months: Ribbed texture keeps water in the grooves near the tire zone.
  • Winter months: Ribbed grooves collect slush and salt so it stays off the open floor.
  • Daily parking: Diamond or large coin adds texture that supports traction for steps.
  • Tool zone: Flat pattern keeps wheels rolling smooth when you move gear.

How to Install Garage Floor Mats

Start with the area you plan to cover. Sweep grit, sand, and small stones off the concrete. Dry puddles so the mat sits flat.

Open the box and unroll the mat on the floor. Let it rest so curled corners relax. Slide the mat into position near the door edge. Keep one long side straight along the wall.

Trim after the mat sits where you want it. Mark the cut line with a pencil or tape. Use a straight ruler and a sharp knife for clean cuts. Cut small sections around posts, shelves, and door tracks. Check the fit, then trim again in short cuts.

If you need two mats, place both pieces on the floor first. Push the edges together in a straight line. Add double sided carpet tape under the seam to hold the joint. Use 3M Scotch Weld or Seam Weld when you want a joined seam. Press the surface with a push broom to seat the mat. Open and close the garage door to check edge space.

After install, rinse the mat with water and a mild cleaner. A vinyl floor wax or sealer can add surface protection.
