Extra Heavy Duty Wear Resistant Epoxy Flooring

This is a specially formulated epoxy coating system with a high performance high build 100% military grade solids base coat and chemically hardened two part topcoat high-gloss finish designed to be impervious to heavy foot traffic, heavy Dolley traffic, forklift traffic and repetitive wear traffic, found in cannabis facilities. These floors see high foot traffic and wheel traffic that can quickly dull and wear out standard epoxy floor coatings. This coating is waterproof, mold & mildew proof, seamless, and has a Teflon like finish that is very stain and chemical resistant. High gloss finish brightens your grow facility or dispensary areas and is super easy to keep clean since it is very non-stick.

This epoxy has a hardness rating of Shore D 90+, that is harder than construction hard hats plus it is 25 mils thick when applied with the recommended primer. The combination of extra hard surface and extra thickness ensures your floor stays looking new the longest versus only looking good for the first six months.

Sold in 3 gallon sets. Coverage is 525 SF/set on bare concrete and 625 sf/set on primed surfaces. We strongly recommend that you use the primer for maximum adhesion.   Primer Coverage is 550 sf per set. When ordering we recommend that you add in a 10% safety factor to the actual square footage of your floor to allow for porosity and texture differences that may be in your slab.

Application is very easy. Floor must be clean, dry and profiled either by acid etching or diamond grinding. Once floor is clean and dry mix primer in a 1:1 ratio (if using) and roll out like regular paint. Let dry 5-8 hours depending on temperature. Do not let more than 24 hours pass before applying epoxy. Primer is ready for epoxy when you can press your thumb into it without leaving a fingerprint.

Next mix epoxy in a 2:1 ratio (this would be your first step if not using the primer), only mix 1 gallon of epoxy per person rolling. Mix for 2 1/2 minutes and pour directly onto floor in a bead from left to right. Spread out with supplied squeegee and then back-roll to even out and spread further with lint free roller.

Allow epoxy to dry overnight. Next stir topcoat in can and mix half of Part A & half of the Part B together for 2.5 minutes. Add in half the nonslip if using and mix for 30 seconds. Pour mixture into roller pan and roll out like regular paint. Restir topcoat can periodically to keep non-slip suspended. Allow topcoat to dry 5-8 hours and when it passes the thumb test you can walk on it and have light traffic on it. Heavy traffic should be 48 hours after application.
