Application of this product is straight forward. Concrete must be cleaned via grinding or acid etching. If etching a new floor you must etch twice. Etch with a 3 parts water to 1 part muriatic acid for every 200 square feet. Wet floor and spread solution out evenly scrubbing in with stiff bristle shop broom or scrub brush. Let sit for 5 minutes and rinse well. If etching second time reetch right after rinsing of first etch. Before final rinse sprinkle 1lb of TSP powder per 1000 Sq Ft and scrub into wet floor and let sit one minute then thoroughly rinse clean to neutralize the concrete.

Let floor dry 24-48 hrs to ensure all moisutre has evaporated out of the slab. Mix 1 gallon Part A to 1/2 gallon Part B of the epoxy with drill mounted Jiffy mixer for 3 minutes on low-medium speed. Once mixed add the aggregate and mix till fully unbiform and pour onto floor in right to left bead and squeegee out with 3/8" notch squeegee then backroll with a Loop Roller to smoothen and further spread.

Pot life is aproximately 30 minutes. Coating should be tack free in 6-10 hrs depending on temperature and humidity. Apply onto 50-90 degree slab. Light traffic allowed in 24 hours, heavy traffic in 48 hours.

Clean up with Xylene or Mineral Spirits, do not let epoxy dry on anything not supposed to be coated!

While this coating is self priming we strongly recommend the use of the primer to increase the adhesion to your concrete. We have a fast dry primer when downtime is critical.
