    Commercial Epoxy Floor Coating

Our commercial epoxy floor system is available in both small and large format sizes. Consisting of our best-in-industry high-performance primer, followed by our extra heavy-duty 8 mg abrasion-rated topcoat in the same color.

Unlike competing brands that use standard grit, we use micro tubular aluminum as a non-slip additive that acts like mini rebars for additional durability, as well as providing grip. It's why we call it ultrawear. This combination provides the 8 mg rating (the lower the number the better), which, compared to off-the-shelf epoxies with 25 mg ratings and higher, is no comparison.

This product provides both an economical and durable solution for customers who need long-term protection against their floors dulling or wearing out. Used in the US Coast Guard Helicopter Air Stations.

    Epoxy Flooring For Industry

We have several epoxy floor choices for industrial applications.

ArmorGarage Industrial Epoxy Flooring available in small & large formats is our three-layer high-build epoxy floor system for industrial applications and for those who play around with big heavy toys in their garages and pole barns. Its 4 mg abrasion loss rating is the lowest in the industry, except for our Heavy Tonnage Epoxy System.

Our Heavy Tonnage Epoxy Floor System,, which was used to do the floor in this image, has an incredible abrasion loss rating of only 3 mgs. It's super thick at 30 mils and has a chemically hardened finish that's many levels above a construction hard hat. We call it the toughest epoxy on earth because it's virtually indestructible.

We even have an Industrial Epoxy Flake Floor for customers who want a fancier color flake finish look as well as military grade toughness.

As you can see, we have an epoxy floor product to meet any project requirements from small to large, light duty to extreme duty. We have many other epoxy floor coatings and products, which you can see in the Specialty Coatings section that includes rubber floor epoxy, wet floor epoxies, and many more products.

Heavy-Duty Epoxy Floor Coatings for Heavy Loads and Long Service Life

Heavy duty epoxy floor coatings take the harsh daily use typical in shops and plants. Forklifts roll across the plant surface floor without surface lift or soft spots. Hot tire heat does not ruin the shop floor through long work hours in garages. Hangars, warehouses, and service bays gain long service life from each coating.

Each coating uses a thick multi layer build for strength and traction support. Primer hits clean concrete and thick epoxy forms a solid base. A urethane topcoat adds gloss and boosts scratch resistance for daily traffic.

Armor Garage makes each coating in the United States with strong oversight. Military sites and large plants trust these heavy duty coatings for tough floors. Thick coatings cut recoat cycles, labor hours, and shutdown time across seasons. Our support team guides you toward the right coating for your floor.

    What Are Epoxy Floor Coatings?

Epoxy floor coatings give concrete a hard shield that takes force and heat. Thick resins cure into a strong surface that backs daily traffic in shops, plants, hangars, and garages. These coatings support vehicle loads, tool drops, and spill contact without wearing fast.

Each coating uses layers that build strength and abrasion control. Primer hits the slab, thick epoxy forms a solid base, and a tough urethane topcoat adds gloss and traction support for long use.

Why Armor Garage Epoxy Is Different

At Armor Garage, we create coatings that handle tough floors every day. You get strong layers that help your concrete deal with pressure, heat, and heavy use. Our goal stays simple and direct as we help you get a floor that holds up for years.

    Heavy Duty Engineering

We design each coating with a thick multi layer build. Primer hits the concrete surface and supports each new coat. Strong epoxy adds thickness and impact support for busy sites. A urethane top layer boosts traction and gloss under daily movement.

    American Made Production

Our coatings come from United States production with quality checks. We watch each batch and keep strength standards high. You get coatings tested on floors in shops, plants, and garages.

    Installer Level Support

Our team helps you pick the coating that fits your floor. You can call our support staff for product questions anytime. We help you match coatings to your traffic, surface, and project goals.

Military Grade Epoxy Floor Coatings by Use Type

Every floor needs a coating built for its load and traffic. Military grade epoxy gives each surface thick strength, long use, and tight bond across busy areas. These coatings help concrete handle weight, heat, and movement in plants, shops, and home garages.

    Industrial Floors

Industrial floors face forklifts, pallet trucks, and sharp drops. These areas need thick epoxy layers that handle force. Coats spread impact across rough concrete and support wide traffic lanes.

Primer bonds fast on prepared slabs for stronger layers. Epoxy adds depth and helps with rolling loads. A urethane finish stands up to oils and sharp edges.

    Commercial Floors

Commercial floors deal with carts, spills, and quick steps. Military grade epoxy gives these rooms a tight surface that stays tough. Coatings handle wheels, grease, and steady movement without early wear.

Color chips hide daily marks and support bright spaces. Thick coats help floors stay smooth through long shifts. Urethane layers keep gloss on busy paths and help cleanup work.

    Garage Floors

Garage floors carry cars, tools, and weekend tasks. Hot tires and drips damage thin paint fast. Military grade epoxy kits add thicker layers that hold firm.

Flakes hide stains and give stronger traction in tight spaces. A urethane top adds scratch resistance and heat control. These coatings stay tough through parking, repairs, and home projects.

Choosing the Right Type of Epoxy Floor Coating

Each floor has its own load, heat, and traffic pattern. You pick an epoxy coating that fits how your space works each day. Industrial floors see heavy force, while commercial paths move fast with carts and spills. Garage floors deal with hot tires and stored gear. These coating types help your concrete slab stay strong through long use.

You look at a few core points before picking a build level.

    • traffic from carts, wheels, and tools
    • forklift weight across wide lanes
    • heat from car tires in tight spaces
    • spills, oils, and dropped items on concrete

Industrial floors use thick high build epoxy for wide paths and heavy weight. Commercial floors use tough coats that take carts, grease spots, and cleaning work. Garage floors use kits sized for home slabs that face heat and drips. Color chips help hide marks and sharpen the floor surface.

You choose the epoxy type that fits your floor.

    • industrial high build epoxy
    • commercial high build epoxy
    • garage epoxy kits

This match keeps your concrete strong through daily pressure.

What to Look for in a High-Quality Epoxy Floor Coating

You want an epoxy floor coating that stays strong under weight, heat, and movement. A high-quality coating gives your concrete slab thick layers, strong bond, and a hard surface that takes carts, tires, spills, and tools with ease. These traits help your floor hold strength across long daily use.

    • Thick Multi Layer Build: A strong coating starts with a thick multi layer build. High build epoxy adds depth and impact support. Each coat works together to handle pressure.
    • Strong Bond to Concrete: Primer grips the concrete slab and forms a hard base. This bond keeps epoxy firm under carts and wheels. Your floor gains strength for tough paths.
    • Urethane Top Layer Strength: A urethane top layer protects against scratches and tire heat. This layer holds gloss and keeps colors bright. You get surface strength built for busy days.
    • Load and Heat Support: Strong epoxy carries weight from forklifts, cars, and bikes. Thick coatings manage heat from hot tires and tools. Your slab stays firm under rolling loads.
    • Durable Color and Chips: Color chips hide marks and stains from traffic. Bright flakes sharpen the surface and add traction. Your floor keeps its look through daily movement.

How Armor Garage Epoxy Floor Coatings Are Built

Our epoxy coatings use thick layers that give your floor strength. Primer touches the concrete first and forms a solid base. High build epoxy adds depth, impact control, and surface protection. A urethane top layer supports gloss and scratch control on busy floors.

Our coatings come from United States production with strong checks. Each batch follows the same build style and resin mix. You get coating strength suited for shops, plants, and garages.

This structure helps your floor handle heat, rolling loads, and tools. Thick resin layers stay firm across daily movement in tight spaces. Your slab gains a coating stack designed for heavy work.

Epoxy Floor Coating Colors and Finishes

Your floor needs color and finish options that stay strong under traffic, heat, and daily movement. You pick a finish that hides marks, adds traction, and fits your work space. Our epoxy coatings use thick resin layers and a tough top coat so each finish holds up under wheels, tools, and heavy use.

    Solid Color Epoxy Finishes

Solid color epoxy gives your floor a smooth, uniform base. These coats stay bright under traffic and clean up fast. A urethane top layer helps the color stay sharp as you use the floor.

    Chip and Flake Finishes

Chip and flake finishes help cover stains, scuffs, and wheel paths. They add small points of texture that aid grip in shops and garages.

    Granite Style Finishes

Granite style floors use a heavy chip spread for deep coverage. This finish hides small flaws in older concrete and gives a strong, speckled look. You still get the same thick epoxy and urethane structure under the surface.

    Texture and Gloss Options

You choose a smoother finish or a light textured feel. Texture particles help shoes and wheels hold better when areas get wet. High gloss urethane reflects light and brightens work zones. Lower sheen options can help in spaces that need less shine.

Your color and finish choice should follow how you use the floor. You start with strength, then pick the look that supports daily work.

How These Epoxy Floor Coatings Perform Under Heavy Use

Your floor faces weight, wheels, heat, and hard movement each day. Our epoxy coatings handle this pressure with thick layers that stay tight on concrete. You get strength that supports turns, drops, and steady traffic in plants, garages, and work rooms.

These coatings handle sharp tools, rolling equipment, and hot tire contact. Urethane top layers stay strong under pressure and help block stains. Resin layers protect your slab during long hours of movement. Your floor holds firm when heavy loads move through your space.

    • Thick resin coats handle heavy wheel paths
    • Strong bond keeps layers tight under sharp turns
    • Urethane top layer guards against heat and marks
    • Color chips reduce visible wear across traffic lanes
    • Epoxy surface holds strength under tools and weight

    Benefits of Epoxy Floor Coatings

Epoxy floor coatings give your concrete strong protection under pressure and heat. You get a surface built to handle weight, sharp turns, and daily movement without breaking down. Each layer supports tough work in garages, shops, and heavy traffic spaces.

Stronger Protection for Concrete: Thick resin coats shield your slab from pressure and drops. Your floor takes hard use without breaking or chipping. This strength helps your concrete stay in good shape.

Better Resistance to Heat and Weight: These coatings handle hot tires and rolling equipment with ease. Your floor stays firm when cars park, turn, or idle. Strong resin builds support repeated weight across busy areas.

Long Surface Life Under Daily Use: You get durable layers that handle movement, spills, and small impacts. Floors stay strong through long work days. Thick coats help keep wear low across active floors.

Improved Grip and Movement Safety: Texture options give shoes and wheels better traction on slick spots. Chip surfaces add small points of grip under fast movement. Your floor supports smoother steps in busy rooms.

Easy Cleaning on Busy Floors: Epoxy helps floors clean fast after oil, dust, or dirt. Wipes and rinses remove surface mess with little effort. Your space stays cleaner through long work hours.

What You Need Before Applying Epoxy Floor Coatings

You need a floor that is dry, open, and ready for work. Your slab must stay free of dust, old paint, and any oil spots. You also need enough epoxy and topcoat on hand so you finish the job without stopping. This gives you a smooth path from start to finish.

Your work area should hold the right temperature and stay easy to move through. You need space for mixing, rolling, and stepping around the slab. Keep tools close and move anything that blocks the floor. Good airflow helps each layer stay tight as you coat.

    • Dry slab without damp spots
    • Floor surface free from dust or oil
    • Room temperature within the correct window
    • Enough epoxy and topcoat for full coverage
    • Open space so you move without obstacles

Your setup shapes the strength of the coating that follows. You make the job easier when your floor and work space stay ready from the first coat to the last.

Additional Helpful Information About Epoxy Flooring

Some floors need stronger epoxy than others, and choosing the wrong build causes most coating problems. You stay ahead when you know how epoxy works and what your floor needs. Good epoxy uses two parts that join into a hard, tough surface. Strong builds use several layers so your slab holds firm under work loads.

Many people run into trouble when they buy thin coatings or water-based paint kits. These products coat the floor but lack strength for heat, weight, and traffic. Some coatings claim strong solids and fall short during use. Others fail because they cannot handle cars, tools, or rolling equipment. Your best choice is a coating built for your load and your space.
